Who we are

We are the data controller for personal data collected through ZinApp. As a sole trader registered in England, we are responsible for ensuring your data is handled lawfully, fairly, and transparently.

Data minimisation

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service. We do not request your name, postal address, or any data beyond what is listed above.

Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account remains active. On account deletion, your personal data will be removed from our systems within 30 days.

  • Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
  • Erasure — request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
  • Restriction — request that we limit how we use your data
  • Portability — request your data in a portable format

  • Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw at any time

Each processor is contractually bound to process your data only on our instructions and in compliance with applicable data protection law.

International transfers

Some processors operate outside the UK. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent frameworks.

Data breaches

In the event of a personal data breach that poses a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) within 72 hours and inform affected users without undue delay.
